Test your writing skills against your peers.  Each year the Wausau Noon Optimists offer CASH PRIZES IN THE AMOUNTS OF: $400 FOR FIRST PLACE, $100 FOR SECOND and $50 FOR THIRD best written essays.  We work with the participants to make the experience beneficial to all involved.  Essays must be submitted via email by 11:59 pm on 01/31/2018 to be eligible.  The winner of our local contest will advance to the district contest.

This contest is open to students under the age of 18 as of October 1, 2017 of the current Optimist International Fiscal Year REGISTERED AS FRESHMAN - SENIORS IN THE WAUSAU SCHOOL DISTRICT.
