Romey Wagner has been a Wausau Noon Optimist for the past 28 year. In those years Romey has served as: Club Secretary, Club Treasures, Vice President, and was also a President - once prior. Romey has served the Wisconsin North - Upper Michigan (WINUM District) as a District Lieutenant Governor, Governor, and currently serves as the districts and international Optimist Foundation Representative. Romey has chaired many projects for the Wausau Noon Optimist Club, most notably, the Elephant Ear Stand and NFL Sweepstakes. He has been married to his wife Lisa for 38 years and they have had three adult children of whom have been raised with the help of all our Optimist friends.
I’ve been an active member of WNO since 2013, and have always strived to be involved with as many of our great projects and events as I can. This is why I’ve gladly served on the board of directors and would be proud to be elected to Internal VP this year.

Natalie joined the Wausau Noon Optimist in 2017 “to do more,” and learned after her first meeting that the Wausau Noon Optimists provided this opportunity. In 2018, Natalie was elected to the Wausau Noon Optimist Board of Directors due to her demonstrated leadership and desire to contribute to the community. Natalie is a co-owner of On-Q Collision - a business with a compassion for community. With Natalie’s desire and compassion, she founded and developed a women’s expo: Stiletto Strong - an organization to help women in business. Natalie spends her free time camping with her wonderful husband (Dale), visiting with their son and his wife and enjoying their two energetic grandsons.

Anne joined the Wausau Noon Optimist Club in 1988. She served as President 2019-2020. She has served as Vice President for 9+ years, Treasurer for a year, Secretary for many years and was on the Board of Directors for many years. Anne grew up in Wausau and has been active in many service organizations. She was previously the President of the Easton Hewitt Wausau Lions Club. She retired from Marathon County Employees Credit Union in 2018 after serving as their President for 33 years. Anne and her husband Eric reside in the town of Easton where they have a Tree Farm. Children’s Festival and Camp Rainbow’s End are two of her favorite Youth Projects.
Bob is a lifelong resident of the Wausau area serving many local organizations in service to youth. He has been a member of an Optimist club since 1982 serving as Honor Club President, Treasurer, and Board member multiple years. As a small business owner and manager in the Wausau area, Bob is committed to giving to the local community that has supported local businesses as well. Bob and his wife Linda are looking forward to their retirement years coming soon where they can spend time with their two children and four grandchildren.
Andrew is a paramedic by trade and received his Bachelors of Applied Science in Management from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. He has been a member of the Wausau Noon Optimist Club since 2012 where he found a passion for helping those in need in the community. Andrew uses his talents in social media, web page design, and other technical support to serve the Wausau Noon Optimist Club. Andrew is supported by his wonderful wife Angela and daughter Charlotte; to whom he owes a world of gratitude.
Becky Pemble joined the Wausau Noon Optimist Club in 2015, to help serve the youth in the community. She currently serves as the new member chair and was elected to the board in 2019. Becky is married to Jamie, and they have two boys, Chase and Drake. As a family, they have enjoyed volunteering together at different WNO events. They enjoy spending time up at their cabin in Mercer, riding atvs in the summer and snowmobiling in the winter.
Becky began her career immediately out of college in February 1998 with Aflac, helping serve businesses throughout the central Wisconsin area as an employee benefits consultant. She has held different leadership roles over her 20+ years with Aflac. Becky recruited her husband into the business in 2003. They share a passion for helping businesses in our community. She would love one day to have her children follow in their footsteps.
Kristen has been a stay at home mom for about 10 years. Prior to kids, she worked as an engineer for Cummins Filtration in Stoughton, WI. She now lives in Rib Mountain with her husband Aaron, and children Victoria and William. She enjoys family time, hiking, crafts, landscaping, and playing the piano. Kristen joined the Optimist Club in 2016 after seeing a sticker inside a book her son received from the club, prompting her to research the group to find out more. Kristen appreciates the goal of supporting the youth within our local community.
Opened my business in 2005 as a scratch agent and have a fully licensed staff of three. Licensed in WI, MN, IL, MI, AZ and FL. My drive to help my clients is based on how much I care. I am in the business of protecting dreams with comprehensive insurance solutions. As a result, I have obtained American Family’s most prestigious Premier Leader Award four years in a row, amongst numerous other achievements with the company. A lifelong resident of the Wausau area and two beautiful daughters, I have strong community involvement in many non-profit organizations. The dedication and care within my community is a direct reflection of my business mission, vision, value and goals. My passion will always be children, cancer and serving others when they need a helping hand.
Originally from the Detroit, MI area Sharon and I moved to Wausau in 1976 to join the Apogee Wausau Group. After 25 years as V.P. & General Manager of three divisions I retired in 2001 and formed RSD Services, a construction industry consulting company. Sharon and I fully retired in 2007 and now enjoy 60 wonderful years of marriage, our two kids and three grandkids - all living here in Wausau where we volunteer in a variety of areas.
Judy Hatz is originally from Merrill Wisconsin. She is the oldest of three girls and was raised on a dairy farm. Judy is a graduate of Merrill High School, NTC and Upper Iowa University with a degree in Business Management. She has a 30 year career in the Insurance Industry as an Independent Agent with two Agencies in Merrill, most recently a resident claim representative and a Branch Claim Manager For Auto-Owners Insurance, retiring in 2019.
Judy was a member of the Merrill Noon Optimist before moving to Madison. She has chaired various projects and has served as President, Treasurer and Lt. Governor. She also had opportunities of leadership as President Sun Prairie Lions Club, Church Council and as a Merrill City Alderman.
Judy enjoys traveling, curling, recreational aviation, ying lessons in her cub and being active in the community.
Jim has been a member of the Wausau Noon Optimist since 1991. He joined to club to help the youth in the community that he has dedicated his life to serving and protecting. Jim has served the Wausau Noon Optimist as Treasure since 2007 - keeping the club viable and fiscally responsible is very important to Jim. Jim and his beautiful wife enjoy spending time with their children, grandchildren, and seeing the world.
